VOLUNTEERS WANTED FOR
OLD COACH ROAD WALKING TRAIL
CLEANUP
The “Old Coach Road walking trail” was created and opened with the co-operation of the National Parks & Wildlife Service. Starting from Ballymanus Lane cross roads and going in a South Westerly direction, the trail follows the route of the old coach road and leads out through the forest on to the Deputy’s Pass trail and eventually to the car park. We drained and cleared mud from certain sections of the trail last year, but briars, bushes and weeds still need to be cleared.
Date: This Saturday 1st March
Assembly point: Ballymanus Lane from 10am
Volunteers are asked to bring slash hooks, spades and shears and wear suitable clothing.
